I had a lovely time over New Years visiting Palm Springs for the first time! It was beautiful, and so much fun. Although it was chilly, it was super-relaxing and photographically inspiring. It was so nice to be there, after having just lived through the "Snowpocalypse" back east.

Chandler and I arrived on New Years Eve and spent time with our friends in their gorgeous new home. It was here that I made a lot of these pictures on film. Their living room was filled with awesome furniture and knick knacks (an Eames rocking chair, an ultra-comfy chaise made of seat belts, and a rock & roll Elvis nutcracker to name a few). Upon entering you see this plus a view of mountains and fruit trees through giant windows.

My other pictures were shot in various locations around the city of Palm Springs, including at the Parker Palm Springs and Ace hotels. Thanks to Jonathan Adler for designing much of the decor at the Parker, gorgeous!
