It’s not easy to plan a winter wedding in NYC. No one knows what the weather will be like. Layering in a beautiful way is tricky, and impending snowstorms are definite considerations. On Jan 3rd, Irene Vallye and Quinn Martin Jr. lucked out. Situated in the heart of the historic South Street Seaport in Lower Manhattan, the sun set beautifully over their venue: the beautiful glass enclosed Bridgewaters
The talented graphic designer, Irene Vallye, designed and planned her wedding from scratch. She created her invites, monograms, coasters, menus, maps and more stationery for her guests. She designed the program and favors on paper and had them all printed professionally, while everything else she letterpress printed herself. The plan was to letterpress everything, but she ran out of time and had to outsource. I was still really impressed!
