Image of the Month: Farmer’s Hands
I
chose this as my Image of the Month for September because it reminds me
of this time of year. I photographed this handful of garlic, in the
fall, at a farmer’s market in Santa Marguerita, Liguria, which is a
Mediterranean town in Northern Italy.
I love the colors and textures that are captured on film. The details and the farmer's hands tell a very specific story.

Pictures from Israel – III
In early July I was lucky enough to get to photograph the beautiful wedding of Osi and Gary in Old Jaffa, Israel, the port city a bit south down from Tel Aviv. I shot these photos, a few moments before their ceremony, in the alleys in the old walled city.
Pictures from Israel – II
While I was walking through the Old City of Jerusalem in the Arab Quarter, I came across this boy with the most awesome look. He welcomed me to take a photo of him.
I love this picture.
I also love this photo of three girl friends in the Arab Quarter who also asked for a photo. The roads wound through arches and alleyways, which eventually led to the Dome of the Rock.
Pictures from Israel – I
In the first week of July, I traveled to Israel to photograph a wedding in Tel Aviv & Jaffa.
In the week following the event, I traveled to the Old City in Jerusalem and then to Masada on the Dead Sea. Here are some of the first photos from that trip, of the Western Wall (The Wailing Wall) in Old Jerusalem.
More to come…
