I’m so pleased to see my photos of Lindsey and Scott’s Manhattan wedding on Style Me Pretty! I’m also thrilled to see the images featured again in the Style Me Pretty Best of 2010 magazine! This is Style Me Pretty’s first ever Best of Magazine, so I’m super flattered to be included in it.
All images above were shot on film and developed at Chelsea Photographic in Manhattan.
Lindsey’s wore Junko Yoshioko from Mark Ingram Atelier.
I was lucky enough to travel to Barbados to visit my Aunt and Uncle on the way back from a destination wedding in November. To get to Canouan (St. Vincent and the Grenadines) you must fly first to Barbados.
While there, my Aunt and Uncle toured Chandler around the country (it’s small enough that you could travel the circumference in a day and still have time to visit every Parish!)
We stopped in every Parish one day, and still had enough time to try the local foods (flying fish) and buy some locally made ceramics (at Earthworks).
Here is a photo an old chattel house that we saw while exploring an old windmill on the Atlantic side of the island. Below depicts the flower of a Torch Ginger (Etlingera elatior) on the left and cane fields on the right. Below that are more cane fields, a Banana tree pod, a Christmas Palm tree (Veitchia merrillii) and Chandler and I hanging out near the old windmill.
Anar & Dale’s Indian in Birmingham took place at the Ross Bridge Resort on the weekend of October 25, 2009. What a lovely couple, and such a fun party! So much dancing and drumming! More pictures to come…
Anar & Dale’s vendors included:
Wedding planning: Sonal J. Shah Event Consultants
Videography: Celeste Studios
Ceremony & Reception Location: Ross Bridge Resort, Birmingham, Alabama
Anar’s shoes: Christian Louboutin
Thanks to Amelia Krales for second shooting with me at this Alabama wedding!
Thanks to my intern Whitney Arostegui to helping me with these diptychs : )
I’m excited to share the launch of designer Sara Jensen’s updated site: Lost Bird Found. I love its snazzy modern look!
I’m also excited to see my still life and portrait photos in use, including photos of my friend Kat holding the skinny totes in Montreal and my boyfriend sporting the grey t-shirt.
More photos here from a previous post of the shoot we did last summer…
In early January, Chandler and I traveled North to Montreal to visit my family and ski in the Laurentians. While in Tremblant, we cross-country skied in about 2 ft of powder, a skier’s dream.
Chickadees buzzed overhead as we followed the trails. At one rest point they landed on our shoulders, hats, poles and in our hands. As you can see, they particularly liked Chandler’s sunflower seeds : )
You may view more of my road trips & travel images on this blog.
Jackie & Aaron got married at the rustic Foundry in Long Island City.
We first all met up at her mom’s loft in Chelsea, as it was a drizzly day, and not conducive to shooting lots of portraits outside.
I love the “studio” effect of these black and white film photos, especially with Aaron playing his guitar.
More to come next week!
