Wedding Proposal at The River Cafe.

I’m obsessed with this proposal session at the River Cafe in Brooklyn! Gillian was genuinely surprised and so happy for the entire evening! Andrew did an amazing job keeping it secret until the moment he proposed. Coordinating this special event with him was truly an honor! I always get so nervous for my couples when they are minutes away from getting down on one knee. I love it—it’s an exciting and nerve-wracking experience all at once!

Gillian’s reaction was priceless. The setting was perfect for Andrew’s romantic proposal. With spectacular views overlooking New York Harbor, The Brooklyn Bridge and the Manhattan skyline, you can’t go wrong in choosing this venue for your wedding proposal. After dinner we photographed the couple’s portraits along the Brooklyn Waterfront and in the River Cafe garden. Despite the overcast day, their pictures exude so much color and joy! Aside from proposals at the River Cafe, we have also photographed River Cafe weddings. It is an awesome historic venue, in such an iconic setting. There is so much to take in at the Brooklyn Waterfront and every year there is even more to see, whether it’s outdoor sculptures, restaurants, or outdoor musical performances. We love to photograph there, and I think it shows. :)
