Henry at 5 months old. Not quite sitting up on his own yet, but with a little bit of support. His gummy smile makes me melt! XO
Welcome Baby Henry!
Welcome Baby Henry! Sweet Henry Nathaniel entered the world in late September 2016, and it’s been quite the ride! He will be turning 6 months old next week, I cannot believe it! Here are a few images I took in the past 6 months, including the first one taken on day 2, in the hospital, wearing the red hat I knit for him. He is also sporting a nifty blue cardigan I made for him last summer, at 9 weeks old while in Montreal. Sadly, he only got to wear it for one day before he outgrew it! XO
Wedding Portraits on the Highline
I loved Jung and Jereme’s wedding. It was so simple yet so beautiful. I’m especially pleased we made time for wedding portraits on the Highline, across the street from their venue, on this chilly November day.
I also loved that the couple included their puppy in the pictures, both while getting ready at home, and later at the beginning of their reception. How sweet is that?
Waldorf Astoria and Harold Pratt House Wedding
I had the pleasure of photographing Chelsea & Michael’s Waldorf Astoria and Harold Pratt House Wedding earlier in the summer. I’m in love with their portraits. Such a beautiful couple. And… they even brought their 2 kittens! I’ve photographed puppies and larger canines at weddings before, but in my 15 years of shooting weddings, I’ve never seen a bride and groom bring felines! There’s a first for everything I guess!
Thanks to the following vendors to help make this beautiful wedding come together:
Iceland in June
What an incredible week of scenic drives, glacier walks, black sand beaches, continuous sun and silica infused geothermal pools! I’m sharing some photographs I made from my trip to Iceland in June with my husband Chandler and our baby in utero. There are so many photos and video snippets, but I’m limiting it to just these for now. I cannot wait to return to experience Iceland’s beauty again!

Buttermilk Falls Inn wedding
I am thrilled to share this romantic and stylish Buttermilk Falls Inn wedding! Justin and Darren were dream clients – they were laid back, stylish and so fun-loving! I was also happy to see their wedding featured on Style Me Pretty this week. You may see the feature right here!
It was so sweet to witness how the couple considered the participation of their two young sons, Luke and Jake, in all their wedding festivities. Jake and Luke were included in Justin and Darren’s getting ready session, in their ceremony, and even in cocktail hour when they got to chase ducks and pick apples in Buttermilk Farm’s orchard. They even enjoyed holding a custom made Thank you sign for pictures which the couple would later print for their thank you cards.
Justin and Darren trusted me and gave me a lot of creative freedom within their itinerary. The palette of vibrant orange and peach dahlias and ranunculus, alongside the verdant green of the lush summer grasses, and the grooms’ handsome blue attire inspired unlimited picture-taking.
You may see more of my photos in my wedding gallery, and on Style Me Pretty this week!
Tiki with a Twist Cocktail Book
Our Tiki with a Twist cocktail book is published and now on bookshelves! This collaboration between Montauk mixologist Lynn Calvo, of Lynn’s Hula Hut, co-author and James Beard award winner James Fraioli, me and Sterling Publishing proves to be a fruitful one! We worked on this project last summer in Montauk, New York, shooting cocktails at Lynn’s Hula Hut, fresh ingredients at the Montauk Farmers Market and a fun celebratory party at the tiki hut when all was over!
Tiki with a Twist: 75 Cool, Fresh, and Wild Tropical Cocktails is out just in time for summer! Feel free to get your copy at Barnes and Noble, or on Amazon. There are truly some delicious recipes with Lynn’s unique infusions and natural organic ingredients. I assure you, you will love these concoctions…
“Can’t get to the Caribbean or the South Pacific but want a delicious taste of those tropical islands? Now you can whip up new, mouthwatering tiki cocktails at home. From the Coconut Cucumber Mojito and the Honeydew Daiquiri to the Nutty Samoan and the Tahiti Spice Tikitini, these sexy, innovative drinks from Lynn Calvo, owner of Lynn’s Hula Hut in Montauk, New York, will take your tiki experience to the next level.”

Central Park Engagement Session
I had such a good time shooting Marisa and Michael’s Central Park engagement session in early May! It was one of the first sunny and pleasant spring days so it was nice to work outdoors, comfortably, and with such a lovely couple!
I had photographed Michael’s brother Peter’s wedding a few years ago in the Berkshires, so I knew Michael and his family from photographing them then. It’s great to see familiar faces and of course it’s really flattering to get referrals from family and friends for future weddings!
I will be shooting Marisa and Michael’s wedding at the Metropolitan Building in November. This shoot was an opportunity to get to know each other better and it was great practice for the couple who will be enduring 8-10 hours of photography on their wedding day! Oy!
We photographed at the Bow Bridge, Bethesda Fountain and later cabbed it to Conservatory Garden for the final shots at sunset. The cherry blossoms were at peak bloom in these photos, which will make for a unique and contrasting story to their late fall nuptials…
