I’m excited to share the launch of designer Sara Jensen’s updated site: Lost Bird Found. I love its snazzy modern look!
I’m also excited to see my still life and portrait photos in use, including photos of my friend Kat holding the skinny totes in Montreal and my boyfriend sporting the grey t-shirt.

In early January, Chandler and I traveled North to Montreal to visit my family and ski in the Laurentians. While in Tremblant, we cross-country skied in about 2 ft of powder, a skier’s dream.
Chickadees buzzed overhead as we followed the trails. At one rest point they landed on our shoulders, hats, poles and in our hands. As you can see, they particularly liked Chandler’s sunflower seeds : )

Jackie & Aaron got married at the rustic Foundry in Long Island City.
We first all met up at her mom’s loft in Chelsea, as it was a drizzly day, and not conducive to shooting lots of portraits outside.
I love the “studio” effect of these black and white film photos, especially with Aaron playing his guitar.

I’m excited to say I was interviewed & published on 10 pages of Photo World Magazine in China this month. I just received a copy of the beautiful glossy magazine from China, and have scanned the pages to show here. I wish I could read what it says; can anyone out there translate?

I'm back from a much needed holiday in Montreal & Tremblant, Canada where Chandler and I went skiing in powder snow amongst the pine trees and singing chickadees. It was a beautiful end to a busy busy 2009!
Today I'm starting the new year with a sequel to Pooja & Harsh's Dominican Republic wedding (which I shot in Nov 2009). Today they are having a party for local friends and family at the Midtown Loft in Manhattan.
Above is a collage of prints laid out on my table before showing the couple their prints and images from Punta Cana. I love how happy they looked in all of their photos and how much fun their wedding was! Congrats Pooja & Harsh and see you again tonight!!

In December, I had the pleasure of photographing some beautiful new package designs by Oh Joy! Studio for Joya products, which are currently being sold at Anthropologie stores and online.
The Joya Reserve collection of candles, liquid soap, and body cream is composed of “modern interpretations of classic European scents from centuries past. The art direction and design was inspired by a mix of old and new with “time” being a running theme throughout.”
{All 3 of these products smell delightful! They were even able to lure over Oscar the cat to the photo shoot :}
